Does the display in your SB-104 only work some of the time? Does your display have missing segments or burnt out tubes? Those gas discharge tubes are getting harder and harder to come by.

Then you should consider using this LED display board. It fits onto the mounting studs of the original display. Common LED displays are use. the same wiring harness is used.

Although the project is easy to build, all the parts mount on one double sided pcb, installing the new board is not for the faint of heart! A copy of the original SB-104 assembly manual will be needed.

The board is a drop in replacement for the gas discharge tubes used in the original SB-104 (A). The new LED display does not require the +180 volts that the gas discharge tubes required, therefore you can disconnect the noisy RF dc to dc converter!
